Security Explorer Agent

Also known as APSS, the AHS Security Explorer Agent is a ground surveillance and security system with the ability to be portable. Mounted on a tripod, it includes, but is not limited to, a radar, infrared camera, electro-optical camera and associated components with a dual view PC (radar camera) for the operator.

The SEA solution is portable and can be deployed within ten (10) minutes. It offers a vision of at least ten (10) km depending on the terrain, the power of the radar and the cameras. The entire system is linked to the command center by radio or satellite link. The C2 is operated on the laptop computer.

Mission :
  • Predict: Anticipate illicit trafficking actions prior to illegal activity
  • Deter: Deter illegal cross-border activity at entry and exit by creating and conveying certainty of immediate interdiction at entry
  • Detect: Discover all possible elements of interest
  • Tracking: Track the progress of all items of interest
  • Identify: To determine if an item of interest is a human, an animal, a means of transportation or an unknown
  • Rank: To assign an appropriate threat level to an object of interest
  • Respond: Intervene or use law enforcement resources to address an object of interest
  • Resolve: Take final action, whether criminal, administrative or otherwise. This includes capture data, process information, etc.
